If the Output Ground (Gnd) and Frame Ground (FG/PE) are tied together, will it cause any safety or functional issues?
Answer: Delta's CliQ DIN Rail Power Supplies are designed based on the isolation concept (1.5KVac isolation between Sec & FG). In the event where the output Gnd and frame Gnd are shorted at the system end, this short will not cause any fuse damage or functional harm to the power supply. However, the EMI could be affected by this.
